We just finished saying goodbye to my Sister on Tuesday our last visitor for a while! I hate when my visitors leave it always means back to work back to reality and stop pretending I'm on holidays too eating whatever I want, buying whatever I want and doing whatever I want yep it's official I hate "reality" haha. I have had such a great time with my Sister Carly she is pretty awesome only because we share the same birthday exactly 10years apart she did hate me for a while there when I was born. Who wouldn't want your younger sister spitting on your birthday cakes trying to blow out the candles?! We hardly get to hang out just the two of us so I loved that we got a few days of it I definitely didn't want her to go home :( Dave loves having family stay too he is such a entertainer like me although we did loose brownie points for not having beer in the fridge haha. I also got to catch up with my sister in laws as well which was really fun Max Brenner's, Salsa's, cuddles with my nieces and shopping what more could you want! Tomorrow Dave & I have the day off to relax and get the house back to normal it looks like a bomb hit it!! and Saturday is our 5yr anniversary wow how time has flown by soon it will be our 1yr wedding anniversary this may. Here is a few pics from the past week, hope everyone has a great weekend Dave sure will because the FOOTY is back on oh dear...

Saying goodbye or see you soon is always the hardest thing to do when family is involved but most of all your Mum and Dad it just never feels right never sits too good with me. I had the best two weeks and spent everyday with my parents before they had to go, we are such a close family always sharing always talking always crashing each others dinner it's just not the same without your family around. My big brother Simon became a Dad over a week ago it's so special seeing your siblings grow into parents something I've been able to witness three times now and each time it's been as special as the last seeing them watch their daughters and sons grow honestly nothing in the world is better than family. I am so happy for my parents they are about to move down to be with my Mum's parents and I can see the excitement all over my Mum's face let alone my Nan and Pop!! and Dad he is super pumped to beat all the oldies on the golf course! I know that when my Mum and Dad are older and need us kids they better have a massive house because not one of us would say no and even want to miss out on being with them and enjoying more family time altogether just like when we were younger.

Holidays await us... if only they were sooner! how much of a relief is paying for your holiday months in advance, that means from here on out all my money saved goes to SHOPPING!! and I cannot wait. We are off to Sydney for the state of origin and then flying from Sydney to Melbourne for a belated second honeymoon. I can't believe that in May it will have been a year since Dave & I became Hubby & Wifey!! sometimes it feels like we've been married for years and years it is coming up to our 5year anniversary though thats half a decade it has to count somehow! We are super excited to be going back to Melbourne it was our first time there on our honeymoon last year and WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE I remember how much I didn't even want to come home. This year though (hubby doesn't know it yet) but I am totally going on the Neighbours tour yep I'm one of those Touristy loving annoying people who can't get enough of getting my camera out and trying to blend in with every other dork too, and yes I said neighbours I can just picture you all screwing up your face at disgust :) I will make sure I do a special post so you guys don't miss out!!!! I also want to check out some homewares stores as the Gold Coast lacks a lot of them unfortunately. If anyone has any suggestions of places to eat, shop, homewards stores, or anything awesome for us to see/do please let us know we love trying new things. We are definitely going back to "Meat & Wine Co" we are just
slightly entirely obsessed with the place. Feel free to leave your suggestions on our facebook page or via email Thanks! Have a great weekend everyone.
